Theme and Major Emphasis Program
Key Club International's major themes this year will revolve around the following programs:
UNICEF
UNICEF, or United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, is an organization dedicated to help the children of Uruguay, where "more than half a million children and adolescents are living in poverty." This support program teamed up with Key Club in support of this cause, and raise millions of dollars simply by doing Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. Visit www.unicef.org for more information.
Children's Miracle Network
This organization raises funds that help supply hospitals with technology, medical care, and even stuffed animals and toys for hospititalized children. Visit www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org for more information.
Live 2 Learn
Live 2 Learn is another program being emphasized by Key Club International. Its a program specifically to help children from ages 5 to 9 years old in three ways: Improving Grades, Giving Back, and Growing Together. March of Dimes
March of Dimes organization aspires to prevent premature babies and birth defects. They pursue this mission through community services such as collecting donations that are used to raise awareness of this cause, as well as to supply money to purchase technology for these newborns.
